Kathie is a dedicated speech pathologist who brings a positive and supportive approach to her sessions. She graduated with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) from The University of Queensland and has a strong passion for supporting children’s communication through the use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), helping them find effective and meaningful ways to express themselves. Kathie is committed to supporting children with complex communication needs and their families by building collaborative relationships and tailoring therapy to each child, with a focus on functional communication goals that support participation and independence. She values a family-centred approach and collaborates closely within multidisciplinary teams to support each child’s success.
